Additional Reading

Many books for young readers exist on WWII. Several of them have as their subject, living under the Nazi regime, or surviving the Holocaust, or they explore the internment of the Japanese. There are even books about the Homefront. Summer of My German Soldier and the books of Michelle Magorian are examples. My two favorites are Lily’s Crossing by Patricia Reilly Giff and Captain’s Command by Anna Meyers.
